Welcome to Mrs. Johnson's Third Grade!
Welcome to 3rd grade! Third grade is the absolute best... I hope that you are prepared for a year full of singing, dancing, and of course lots of learning.
Here are some things you might like to know about me. This is my 23rd year of teaching, and my 9th year teaching third grade at Windy Hills. I started my teaching career in Omaha teaching special education. I moved to Hastings and I taught special education there for a year, and then I finally landed in Kearney. I taught at Emerson Elementary for 12 years: 2 years in special education, 5 years in 4th grade and 5 years in fifth grade.
I have an awesome husband named Mark, who used to teach 5th grade at Windy Hills and is now the principal at Sunrise Middle School. We have one daughter, McKenna (21); three sons: Sam (24), Simon (22) and Charlie (17); and the cutest puppy named Phoebe.
In my spare time I love to golf, play board games, and enjoy hanging out with my family and friends.
