Welcome to Mrs. Borowski's Kindergarten
Hello! My name is Mrs. Borowski and I love teaching kindergarten!
I have been at Windy Hills since 2008 and have a "few" more years of experience teaching in other schools in Nebraska! In addition to my Bachelor's Degree in Education from UNK, I have a Master's Degree in Education in Reading, also from UNK.
I grew up in Grant, Nebraska. We moved to Kearney in 2006. I am married and have a family. My husband's name is Mike. I have 3 sons: Josh and his wife Suzana and their children Liam and Leighton, Kyle and his wife Jordan and their children Clara and Chase and Ryan and his wife Crystal. My youngest child is my daughter Kelsey who is a senior year at UNK, studying to be a teacher and doing her student teaching at KPS this year.
My favorite thing to do when I am not teaching kindergarten, is spending time with my family. We like to water ski, snow ski, watch sports, camp and fish. I also love read!
My personal goal has always been to be the best that I can be. To achieve that goal, I am continually learning. Learning... and the love I have for learning is just who I am! I hope to inspire a love for learning in every student who enters my doors.
Kindergarten is a great place to do that!
