Welcome from Mrs. Buse!
Hi, this is Jenn Buse and I am the Resource Teacher at Windy Hills. This is my 5th year at Windy Hills and my 8th year with KPS. I guess technically I spent the 11 previous years with KPS as well, but as a substitute teacher as I raised my four children, Ali (24), Jerad (19), Katy (14), and Mady (10). The diverse experiences I had during those years were priceless and have brought me to where I am today.
My husband, Dean and I came to Kearney and graduated from UNK. I come from Norfolk and my husband from West Point. We decided to stay after graduation and make Kearney our home! I enjoy spending time with my family playing games, being outside, and watching football (GBR!). I am often found on the sidelines of a soccer field, the bleachers of a swimming pool, or the seat of a theater for a play performance. These are just a few of the activities that my children participate in.
I can be found most mornings with a cup of coffee in hand and a smile on my face (I will still be smiling behind my face covering). I love that I often get to work with students and their families for multiple years. If you know me, I try to incorporate my students' strengths and interests in their learning to make school fun. With that same cup of coffee in hand you might hear me say as you leave my room, "Make it a great day, it's up to you!" Get Ready! Get Set! GO!
